Other Church Facilities

Kitchen.

In 1999 our kitchen facilities were extended and modernised. They now include a dual-fuel cooker, a fridge and serving hatches into the church. This enables us to serve tea and coffee at some services and to have the space to cater more easily for shared lunches, barbeques and other social functions in the church.

The Hospitality Group serve tea or coffee and biscuits (orange juice for young children) at services on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. They also provide tea and coffee and mince pies at our Carol Service and help with the shared meals and the activities that we hold for Senior Citizens and Retired Persons.

Playground opening - May 2002 by Cllr Mike Wilson

Childrens Playground.

In 2002 a children's playground has been constructed in the church field. This gives an area for the children to be able to play and be taught outside when the weather is fine. This is especially for the Pre-School, although of course other youngsters at church activities will benefit from this addition to our facilities.

The playground was officially opened on 7th May 2002 by councillor Mike Wilson.
