ELECTORAL ROLL AND PCC MEMBERSHIP
To be a member of the PCC or to vote at the Annual General Meeting
a person must be on the church Electoral Roll. This is updated each
year before the Annual General Meeting.
To qualify for entry on the Electoral Roll a person must be Baptised
and aged over 16 - (those who become 16 in the 12 months following
the revision of the electoral roll may complete the form ready to
be included on their 16th birthday).
A person must then either be:
A member of the Church of England (or a Church in communion with
the Church of England) and resident in the Parish.
OR A member of the Church of England (or a Church in communion
with the Church of England) and, not being resident in the parish
have habitually attended public worship in the parish during the
period of six months prior to enrolment.
OR A member in good standing of a Church (not in communion with
the Church of England) which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy
Trinity and also declare themselves to be a member of the Church
of England and have habitually attended public worship in the period
of six months prior to enrolment.
