MINUTES OF PCC MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 16TH JUNE 2003

The meeting opened and closed with prayer - The minutes were approved and signed. The PCC accepted a letter of thanks from Mrs. A. Windle for their gift to her in acknowledgement of many years of excellent service to the church and PCC

MATTERS ARISING

• Key Rings - 43 sold to date
  
• Hygiene Course - now completed, certificate to those who were successful in 3 weeks
  
• Jubilee Weekend - Successful, good turn-out for exhibition. Party well received and enjoyed by 60+ people

AGENDA ITEMS
Finance -

• Current A/c: £4877 (incl. £760 of tithing commitment) No. 2 A/c £420
  
• Charity donation (£2740) sent and acknowledged
  
• Total from key rings sold so far £105
  
• £50 donation from Stella Humphries and £50 from a member of the congregation towards the Jubilee expenses
  
• 2 fire extinguishers needed to be purchased - no bill yet
  
• Cost of recent roof repair £94
  
• Pre-school rents increased by inflation 3%
  
• £24 for Songs of Fellowship music book
  
• Church structure to be checked after loose concrete and costings obtained

Quiet Day possibly Spring 2004

“The Provocative Church” - There was an interesting and lengthy discussion on the first few chapters of this book. Further discussion if time allows at later meetings
