MINUTES OF PCC MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 25TH MARCH

The meeting opened and closed with prayer - the
minutes were approved and signed
MATTERS ARISING:
Springboard Meeting: - Encouraging
- good to meet with other PCCs
Social Events: - Organisers needed
to run them. Please hold in prayer
AGENDA ITEMS:
Finance:
- Current A/C £2336 ( estimate after all bills paid) No.2
A/C £420
- Water rates of £268 due 1st April
- Council Tax for vicarage due again in April
- Great care needed with spending until tax rebates which are
due in May
Agenda:
- Pre- School Group - Discussion
of future leadership took place
- Canal Mission and Festival Manchester
- Diocesan canal boat mission in September 2003 - Pat Gallagher
to liaise with
St. Chads and St. Marks re joint action
- Festival Manchester - Clem Beaumont
to check coach booking for church trio to family day on August
31st. Retiring collection for Festival Manchester on June 22nd
- Chancel Piano - The PCC decided
unanimously to sell the chancel piano. The church does not neet
two and the other piano ( in the extension) is of better quality.
- Cleaning Afternoon/ Evening -
Cleaning of the church and ground on Thursday 8th May 3p.m. -
5p.m. and 7.30p.m. - 9.00p.m.
AOB
- Werneth Band cannot come to Jubilee Celebration due to overbooking
and GCSE examinations
- Hire of church hall discussed. Rejected due to practical difficulties
of cleaning and locking up
- Council Run Hygiene Course - Church will pay for the Hospitality
Group. Others welcome but must pay fees 18 - 60 years of age £16.81
under 18 and over 60 £13.94. Other courses on offer, some
at no charge. Fits in with our community outreach plans.
